The only way our area will be out of lockdown this weekend is if they take out the surrounding areas and just keep the city itself in, city rates published today are 60 per 100,000 Birstall and Wanlip ie where Quenikoi is 2.7 per 100,000.... local lobbying has been constant but 1ocal radio interview yesterday with Van Tam seemed to indicate they are even considering extending it to the whole of Leicestershire not reducing it.... just have to wait and see. But TBH its not affecting much at all travel isn't banned just advised against. What ever you all need face masks now
so best get some koi material ones sorted for us all!

We can hardly believe it - sense has prevailed! Thanks to the tireless campaigning of our councillors from the day they announced the un warranted lockdown- we literally have lower rates than a lot of England.
So they should move the essential travel only signs into and out of Leicester to the inner ring road where the city starts not by our villages!
You still need to sort some koi face masks though as its a shop.

YES!!
You will still see "Essential travel only into and out of Leicester" signs on the approach from the main A6/A46 but the area is now the city itself not the surrounding villages.
