Bloody midges

Postby craig b » Sun Jul 21, 2019 8:54 am

Is anyone else struggling with midges in filters? Was talking to Kev C at the Methley meet up and he said when he takes his covers off his drum hundreds of the buggers fly out and now I'm in the same Situation.

Mine are still the same!!! Literally hundreds of the little gits every time I open the filter. Never had it this bad before :angry-banghead:

Got loads of these too, the inlet into my Draco drum, waste shoot and skimmer wear is covered in them. Took my Bakki shower apart today to add another 10KG of BHM and found them all over the BHM in the top tier, and they were all over the spray bar too!

Cheers,
Brad

Maybe struggling was the wrong word. What I mean is they are getting on my tits :laughing-rolling:

Flying all over me when I take nexus cover off to clean the filter.

I have to close my eyes and gob when I open lids on wheelie bins. Just leave shed door open and let em go. Got some BIG spiders in shed too

Problem sorted :happy-partydance: it was like a firecracker going off when I switched it on. The photo of the tray was taken after being on for ten minutes :handgestures-thumbup:
